Our hours are still 10-5. They will probably stay that way throughout the season. We want to be sure our colleagues feel safe in the store, so we are limiting the hours so that no one feels they are being over-exposed to possible contagion.

So far, our customers have been wonderful! Wearing masks, getting their hands spritzed with disinfectant, social distancing. Thank you!

Someone (wearing a mask and being considerate, not arguing with the policy) commented that Leelanau County has only had 11 cases, so what’s the big deal? This is the big deal: You wear your mask to protect ME! Not you. Up to 80% of contagious virus carriers have NO SYMPTOMS! So saying, “I don’t have it!” doesn’t mean much. If you are coming from a high-infection region, you may have it and not know it. Your mask (which removes most virus from your exhalations) protects me! Mine protects you! Yay us!
